- The Global Aviation Summit 2019 will be held on 15-16 January, 2019 in the financial capital of India, Mumbai.
- The theme for the Summit will be “Flying for all – especially for the next 6 billion”
- The Summit is organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India and the Airport Authority of India (AAI) in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). The event is supported by ICAO, IATA, ACI and CANSO.
- Over 1,000 delegates, more than 50 global CEOs as well as transport ministries and civil aviation authorities from various countries are expected to participate in the summit.
- The Summit aims to focus on the celebration of ‘Flying for All’ and to provide a platform to the aviation fraternity to highlight the challenges of the sector in the newly developing growth spots.
