- The Armed Forces Week 2018 celebrations began on December 1, 2018 and will conclude on 7th of this month.
- India marks the Armed Forces Flag Day on 7th December every year and this year it will be the 70th Armed Forces Flag Day.
- The ‘Armed forces Flag Day Fund’ (AFFDF) has been constituted by the Government of India for the welfare and rehabilitation of the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) community.
