Veteran Odia music director Shantanu Mohapatra passes away at 84

Legendary Odia music director Shantanu Mohapatra has passed away due to old age-related ailments. He was 84.
Mohapatra has been associated with Odia music industry for almost 60 years.
He has many firsts to his credits in the field of Odia music as a music composer.
Shantanu Mohapatra was the first Odia music director to work with acclaimed singers and music composers of the Hindi film industry like Lata Mangeshkar , Mohd Rafi, Manna Dey, etc.
He composed first modern lullaby in AIR, first qawali, first bhangra tune, and first fusion and jumping note.
