- Korean teenager Joohyung Kim has won the 2019 Panasonic Open India held at Gurgaon, Haryana on November 17, 2019.
- India’s Shiv Kapur and Chikkarangappa S finished tied second.
- With this win, the 17-year-old Joohyung Kim has become the second-youngest winner on the Asian Tour.
- Also, it was only the second time that a player other than an Indian had won the event in its nine editions.
- In 2013, Australia’s Wade Ormsby was the first Non Indian to win the event.
