Reserve Bank of India has released the notification for the recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (Direct Recruit-DR) for Panel Year 2022.
Number of Vacancies
The Grade B vacancy has been released for General/DEPR/DSIM Streams by RBI. The number of vacancies for these three streams is given below:
- Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- General= 238
- Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- DEPR= 31
- Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- DSIM= 25

Salary of RBI Grade B
Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹ 55,200/-p.m. in the pay scale of Rs. 55200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850 (2) – 86550-3300(4)-99750 (16 years) applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are Rs. 1,08,404/- (approximately) The House Allowance of 15% of Basic Pay will be paid, if accommodation is not provided by the Bank.
Age Limit (As on January 01, 2022):
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the January 01, 2022 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than January 02, 1992 and not later than January 01, 2001.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
The following minimum educational qualifications are prescribed for the posts:
