Nitin Gadkari Inaugurates India’s First Intercity Electric Bus between Mumbai and Pune
- The Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari flagged off Mumbai-Pune Electric Bus on 14 February 2020 in Mumbai.
- It is the first Electric Intercity Bus in India.
- The 43-seater capacity luxury electric bus has been manufactured by Mitra Mobility Solution.
- It can run 300 kilometre on a single charge and would be operated twice daily between the two cities.
