Moody’s Slashes India’s Growth Forecast to 5.4 percent for 2020 from 6.6 percent Earlier
- Moody’s Investors Service has revised India’s growth forecast for 2020 to 5.4 percent from 6.6 percent projected earlier in its latest Global Macro Outlook, released on 17 February 2020.
- The growth projections are based on calendar year and as per its estimates, the GDP growth of India is:
- 2019- 5%
- 2020- 5.4% (6.6% earlier)
- 2021- 5.8% (6.7% earlier)
