Loan Agreement worth US$ 400 Million Signed Between India and World Bank to Eliminate Tuberculosis from India
- The World Bank and the Government of India has signed Loan Agreement of $400 Million to help in treating, controlling and eliminating Tuberculosis (TB) from India.
- The program will cover nine States of India to support the Government of India’s (GoI) National Strategic Plan to end TB in India by 2025.
- The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) has a 19-year maturity including 5-year grace period.
