IOC Lifts Ban Imposed on India to Host Olympic-Related Sporting Events

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has on June 20, 2019 officially lifted the provisional sanction imposed on India in February 2019 to host international sporting events.
Indian government gave a written guarantee to the Indian Olympic Association on June 18, that all eligible athletes will be allowed to participate in events held in the country following which the restrictions were lifted
In February 2019, IOC imposed hosting right ban on India after Pakistani shooters were not issued visas for the World Cup held in Delhi.
