India Ranks 78 in Global Corruption Index 2018 by Transparency International

  • India has remarkably improved its ranking by three points and moved to 78th position on Global Corruption Index in 2018 with a score of 41.
  • The Corruption Perceptions Index is released annually by global anti-corruption watchdog Transparency International.
  • The 2018 Index was topped by Denmark followed by New Zealand among 180 countries. 
  • Somalia, Syria and South Sudan were the most corrupt countries in the world.
