India flight-tests SANT missile at Pokhran range
- On December 11, 2021, India successfully flight-tested indigenously developed helicopter-launched stand-off anti-tank (SANT) missile in Pokhran firing ranges of Rajasthan.
- The missile has been launched by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the Indian Air Force (IAF).
- The SANT missile has been designed and developed by Research Centre Imarat (RCI), Hyderabad with support of other DRDO labs and participation from industries.
- The weapon can neutralise targets in a range of up to 10 km.
