HDFC Bank Partners CSC to Launch Chatbot 'Eva'

HDFC Bank has launched an artificial-intelligence chatbot named ‘Eva’, in partnership with the Common Services Centres (CSCs).
The chatbot ‘Eva’ will work on the Digital Seva Portal of CSC to educate and support the Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) about the banks’ products and services in quick and easy manner, before providing those banking services to rural customers in their catchment areas.
The Eva chatbot will help to improve the business of VLEs by enabling them to learn about account opening, loan lead generation and product details.
This new initiative will bridge the gap between India and Bharat.
On one hand, Urban India has been quick to learn and adapt to the digital world, but rural India has faced challenges because of its lower Internet penetration.
