Govt sets target for 40,000 MW of Rooftop Solar projects by 2022
- The Central Government has set a target of installing 40,000 MW of Rooftop Solar (RTS) projects by the year 2022. This includes the installation of RTS on rooftop of houses.
- Apart from this as on July 23, 2019, Gujarat is the leader amongst the states in terms of solar rooftop installations.
