Delhi Airport becomes first airport to operationalise Transshipment Hub Centre

Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), has become the first airport in the country to operationalise a dedicated Transshipment Excellence Centre (TEC). The TEC will simplify and expedite the procedure for transfer of transshipment cargo.
The facility will allow exporters and shippers in the region to bring their cargo to Delhi and move it globally.
DAIL manages the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Transshipment is the process of offloading a cargo from one aircraft and loading it to another aircraft at a point between the origin city and final destination.
