Adani Group takes over operational control of Jaipur International Airport from AAI

Gautam Adani-led Adani Group took over the responsibilities of the Jaipur International Airport on October 11, 2021.
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has leased the airport to Adani Group for a period of 50 years.
Adani Airports will work on the operations, management and development of the Jaipur airport through PPP mode.
The first flight after the take over was from Delhi to Jaipur.
The group will take over the control of entire facility except for cargo terminal, Air Traffic Control (ATC) and Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CNS), which will continue to be operated by AAI.
The private group Adani will have to develop their own cargo terminal.
