New Delhi’s IGI Airport Named India’s Best Airport; Singapore Changi Airport Tops: Skytrax World Airport Awards
- Singapore Changi Airport has been crowned the World’s Best Airport hub for the seventh consecutive year according to the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2019.
- The Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) won the second position while Incheon International Airport was third.
- The Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi featured at number 59.
- Other Indian Airports in the list includes Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai (64), Rajiv Gandhi Hyderabad International Airport (66) and Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (69).
- The Skytrax World Airport Awards are voted for by customers in a global airport customer satisfaction survey.
