Zuzana Caputova Elected as First Female President of Slovakia
- Slovak politician and anti-corruption activist , Zuzana Caputova, has won Slovakia’s presidential election and is set to become the country’s first female head of state.
- Caputova got over 58 percent of the ballot after results from 91 percent of polling stations were counted.
- The 45 year old President-elect of Slovakia is due to take office on 15 June 2019.
- She will also be the youngest president in the history of Slovakia
