World's largest Khadi National Flag hoisted in Leh, Ladakh

The world’s largest national flag, made up of Khadi cloth, has been installed in Leh, Ladakh, on the occasion of 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 02, 2021.
The Khadi national flag was inaugurated by Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur.
The tricolor is 225-feet long and 150-feet wide. It weighs around 1,000 kg.
The flag has been prepared by the 57 Engineer Regiment of the Indian Army.
