World’s largest Khadi National Flag hoisted in Leh, Ladakh
- The world’s largest national flag, made up of Khadi cloth, has been installed in Leh, Ladakh, on the occasion of 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 02, 2021.
- The Khadi national flag was inaugurated by Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur.
- The tricolor is 225-feet long and 150-feet wide. It weighs around 1,000 kg.
- The flag has been prepared by the 57 Engineer Regiment of the Indian Army.
