United World Wrestling (UWW) Names Deepak Punia as Junior Wrestler of the year 2019
- World championships silver medallist Deepak PUNIA has been named United World Wrestling’s (UWW) Junior Freestyle Wrestler of the Year.
- Punia became the first Indian wrestler in 18 year to win a junior world title since 2001.
- Japan’s Yui SUSAKI has been named United World Wrestling’s Junior Women’s Wrestler of the Year.
