Telugu filmmaker B Gopal selected for Satyajit Ray Award

Well-known Telugu filmmaker Bejawada Gopal, has been named as the winner of the fourth Satyajit Ray Award for his overall contribution to the Indian cinema.
The award is presented by the Satyajit Ray Film Society, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
Satyajit Ray Award comprises Rs 10,000 cash prize, a memento and plaque.
Previous recipients of the award includes eminent filmmaker and Dada Saheb Phalke awardee, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, actress Madhabi Mukherjee and producer Mohan G.
