Taiwan Elects Tsai Ing-wen as President for second term
- Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen has secured a landslide victory in 2020 presidential elections with 57 percent of the vote in favour to win second term as the President of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
- 63-year old Tsai was the first female leader of the country, when she assumed charge for first term in May 2016.
