T Rabi Sankar appointed fourth Deputy Governor of RBI, succeeding BP Kanungo
- Tavarna Rabi Sankar, the Executive Director at Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been named as the fourth Deputy Governor of the central bank.
- Sankar has been appointed for a period of three years
- He succeeds B P Kanungo, who retired on April 02, 2021.
- The other three RBI deputy governors at RBI are Michael Patra, Mahesh Kumar Jain, and M. Rajeshwar Rao.
