South African Pacer Dale Steyn announces retirement from all forms of cricket

South African cricketer Dale Steyn, who is regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time, has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket with immediate effect on August 31, 2021, ending his 20 year long cricket journey.
The 38-year-old Proteas (South Africa national cricket team) pacer last played for South Africa in T20 vs Australia in February 2020.
Steyn has represented South Africa in 93 Tests, 125 ODIs and 47 T20I.
He had also played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
