SCO Heads of Government Summit to be held in India on 30 November
- India will host the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit of the council of heads of government on November 30, 2020 in New Delhi.
- This SCO Summit is the 19th edition of the council of heads of government meeting of SCO.
- India is hosting this summit for the first time after its admission into the grouping in 2017.
Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)
- Beijing-based SCO is an eight-nation regional grouping comprising of China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India and Pakistan.
- India was an observer at the SCO since 2005 and became its full member in 2017 along with Pakistan.
