RBI Keeps Repo Rate Unchanged at 5.15% in Sixth Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement, 2019-20

  • The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has kept the policy repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) unchanged at 5.15 percent in its sixth bi-monthly monetary policy review for the current financial year 2019-20 during its meeting on February 6, 2020.
  • The GDP growth projection for 2020-21 is pegged at 6.0% from earlier expectation of growth of 5 percent
