RBI approves re-appointment of Amitabh Chaudhry as MD,CEO of Axis Bank
- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the re-appointment of Amitabh Chaudhry as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of private lender Axis Bank for a period of three years.
- The second three-year term of Chaudhry will begin from January 1, 2022.
- Prior to joining Axis Bank, Mr Chaudhry was the MD and CEO of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company.
