PM Modi Conferred with Seoul Peace Prize 2018

The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, was awarded the prestigious Seoul Peace Prize 2018 in recognition of his efforts in promoting global peace & harmony through inclusive economic growth & improving quality of life.
The award was presented to him by the Seoul Peace Prize Foundation, which he dedicated to the 1.5 billion people of India. He is the 14th recipient of the award
The Seoul Peace Prize was established in 1990 to commemorate the success of the 24th Olympic Games held in Seoul.
PM Modi was on two days state visit to South Korea from February 21-22, 2019 to strengthen the ties between the two countries
This was the second visit of PM Modi to the Asian nation after his first state visit in May 2015.
