Overview of PM Modi’s Visit to Hazaribagh and Ranchi in Jharkhand
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Hazaribagh and Ranchi in Jharkhand on 17 February to unveil multiple Projects relateed to health, education, water supply and sanitation.
- At Ranchi, Prime Minister interacted with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana – Ayushman Bharat.
- In addition to this, Prime Minister unveiled following projects at Hazaribagh
- Three medical college buildings at Hazaribagh, Dumka and Palamu
- Four Rural Water Supply Schemes in Ramgarh and Hazaribagh districts
- Sahibganj Sewerage Treatment Plant, and the Madhusudan Ghat, under the Namami Gange initiative
- Women Engineering College Building in Ramgarh
- He also laid the Foundation Stone for
- Four 500-bedded hospitals at Hazaribagh, Dumka, Palamu and Jamshedpur
- An additional six Rural Water Supply Schemes in these two districts, and an Urban Water Supply Scheme in Hazaribagh
- Water supply schemes in areas inhabited by Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups
- Centre for Tribal Studies, Acharya Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh
- Distributed cheques to select beneficiaries to mark the launch of DBT scheme for farmers to purchase mobile phones under e-NAM.
- Distributed packed milk to select school-children to mark the launch of Gift Milk Scheme for students in government schools to improve nutritional status.
