- India’s top oil and gas producer, ONGC was the country’s most profitable public sector company in 2018-19. Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) reported a 34% increase in its 2018-19 fiscal net profit to Rs 26,716 crore.
- Second in the list is Indian Oil Corp (IOC) with a net profit of Rs 17.274 crore in 2018-19. Last year IOC was the top PSU.
