Odia Weightlifter Jhili Dalabehera Bags Prestigious Ekalabya Puraskar 2019
- Odisha-based globally acclaimed weightlifter Jhilli Dalabehera has been named for the prestigious Ekalabya Award 2019.
- Jhilli Dalabehera has won two gold, three silver and one bronze medals in international weightlifting events between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2019 to emerge as the clear winner for the 27th Ekalabya Award.
- The annual award is instituted by Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT) and comprises a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh along with a citation.
