- The NITI Aayog has released the Second Delta ranking for the Aspirational Districts which measures the incremental progress made by them between June 1, 2018 and October 31, 2018.
- It measures six developmental areas of Health and Nutrition, Education, Agriculture and Water Resources, Financial Inclusion, Skill Development, and Basic Infrastructure.
The most improved districts: Virudhunagar of Tamil Nadu has topped the ranking for most improved district
- Top- Virudhunagar (Tamil Nadu); Second- Nuapada (Odisha); Third- Siddharthnagar (Uttar Pradesh)
- In this rank Pakur district of Jharkhand has been placed last at 111th position i.e it is a Least Improved over the period of June – October 2018.
