Mumbai Plans to get India’s largest air quality monitoring network

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has planned to develop a network of 90 air quality monitoring stations in Mumbai.
This will make the city, that has the largest network of air monitoring in India.
The time to complete the project is estimated to be over the next five years.
Currently, Mumbai has 30 air quality monitoring stations.
Mumbai plans to overtake Delhi, which presently has the largest networking of air quality monitors with 38 monitoring stations.
