MTNL Chairman P.K. Purwar gets Additional Charge of BSNL CMD
- The government has appointed MTNL Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) P.K. Purwar as the interim CMD of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL).
- He has been appointed for a period of three months with effect from July 1, 2019 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is earliest
- He succeeds Anupam Shrivastava who retired upon superannuation on June 30, 2019.
