Meity forms committee to examine non-personal data regulation; Head- Kris Gopalakrishnan
- Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) has formed an eight-membered Committee to study issues related to non-personal data and suggest how the government should look at regulating it.
- The committee is headed by Kris Gopalakrishnan, Infosys Co-Founder.
- The idea is to have a separate and independent consultation on non-personal data, and decide the contours of how it should be regulated.
