Maharashtra Launches Scheme "Mission Oxygen Self-Reliance" to Meet Oxygen Need

To meet its growing oxygen needs, the Maharashtra Government has launched a scheme named “Mission Oxygen Self-Reliance”.
Under this scheme, the state government will provide special incentives to oxygen producing industries so as to meet the increasing demand for Liquid Medical Oxygen in the state.
The current oxygen generation capacity of the state is 1300 MT per day.
Through this new scheme, state government aims to achieve the target of producing 3000 MT of oxygen per day.
To avail the benefits of the new policy, Industries must apply before June 30.
