Lt Gen Manoj Mukund Naravane Takes Charge as Vice Chief of the Army Staff
- Lt Gen Manoj Mukund Naravane assumed the charge of Vice Chief of the Army Staff (VCOAS) on 1 September 2019.
- He succeeds Lt Gen Devraj Anbu who superannuated on 31 August 2019.
- Prior to this, Lt Gen Naravane was the incharge of the Eastern Command of the Indian Army.
