Krishi Kumbh 2019 Held at Motihari in Bihar

• The 3 day long Krishi Kumbh 2019 was organised in Motihari, Bhar from February 9-11, 2019.
• The event was jointly inaugurated by the state Governor Lalji Tandon and Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh.
• The largest Krishi Kumbh of Eastern India was attended by over fifteen thousand farmers across different states and about two hundred agricultural scientists.
• The objective of Krishi Kumbh is to promote modern techniques and diversification in agriculture that could help in doubling farmers income.
