- The Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) has introduced an Online Open Learning training platform named ‘KOOL’ to train teachers, students, and the general public.
- The need to launch KOOL was felt taking into consideration the schools in the state which are going Hi-Tech and requires teachers and students to be trained on different domains simultaneously.
- KOOL is designed in a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) model. It is a major step by the State of Kerala to become India’s first complete digital state in Education.
