- Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has announced ‘Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojna’ (MKAY) for small and medium farmers.
- Under the scheme the state government would offer Rs 5,000 per acre of land to farmers for the kharif crops who have land less than 1 acre and the maximum land limit is 5 acre.
- The outlay of the scheme is Rs 2,250-crore scheme and will help 22.76 lakh medium and marginal farmers starting from the 2019-20 financial year.
