Israel’s 73-year-old Isaak Hayik Makes Guinness Record of Oldest Soccer Player
- A 73-year-old Israeli athlete, Isaak Hayik, has broken the Guinness World Record as the oldest soccer player to play in a professional soccer match.
- Isaak Hayik broke the record after he took part in the match as goalkeeper for the Ironi Or Yehuda soccer club against Maccabi Ramat Gan, on April 5, 2019.
- The previous record holder for the same was held by Robert Carmona of Uruguay in 2015, who at the age of 53 played a professional match with Uruguay’s Pan de Azucar.
