International Workers’ Memorial Day: April 28
- The International Workers’ Memorial Day is held annually all over the world on April 28 to remember the workers who were killed, disabled, injured or made unwell by their working environment and also take action to ensure that such tragedies are not repeated.
- The day is also known as Workers’ Memorial Day, International Commemoration Day (ICD) for Dead and Injured or Day of Mourning.
- The Theme for 2019: “Dangerous substances – get them out of the workplace”.
