International Day of the Girl Child: October 11

The International Day of the Girl Child is observed every year on October 11 since 2012. It is also known as Day of Girls and the International Day of the Girl.
It is the United Nations recognized day to highlight and address the needs and challenges faced by girls and also promote girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights
