International Army Games to be Held in India for the First Time in Rajasthan
- For the first time, India will be host a part of the International Army Games at Jaisalmer in August 2019, in a bid to promote cordial relations with the participating countries.
- International Army Games is an international military sports event organised by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation since 2015 and is participated by around 32 countries.
- The 2019 event will be held in 32 disciplines and will be hosted by 10 countries including Russia, India, China, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Iran, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
- India will host the fifth Army International Scout Masters Competition as a part of the Game.
