India’s first Dinosaur Museum opens in Gujarat
- India’s first Dinosaur Museum cum Park has been inaugurated in Gujarat. The Museum has come up in Raiyoli in Mahisagar district in Gujarat.
- It was inaugurated by Cheif Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani. The museum is equipped with 3D Projection. The Gujarat state government would allocate Rs 10 crore fund to tourism to promote the site internationally.
- This is India’s first such museum and the world’s third park. Raiyoli is globally known to be the third largest fossil site and the second largest dinosaur hatchery from where about 10,000 dinosaur eggs have been found.
