Indian Army names Firing Range after Vidya Balan
- The Indian Army has named a military firing range, situated at Gulmarg in the Baramulla district of Jammu & Kashmir, after Bollywood actress Vidya Balan.
- The firing range will now be called as ‘Vidya Balan Firing Range’.
- The decision to name the firing range was taken in recognition of the contribution to the actress to the Indian cinema.
