India-UK Joint Economic Trade Committee (JETCO) meeting held in London
- The UK-India Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) meeting was held in London on July 15, 2019. The meeting was addressed by Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Railways, Piyush Goyal.
- India and the UK agreed to set up three new bilateral working groups to tackle barriers in specific sectors including food and drink, healthcare and data services.
- India–UK JETCO was established in 2005 for a strategic economic relationship with the UK and to nurture business and enhance bilateral trade and investment.
