India pledges Rs 2.33 crore to build sanitation facility at Nepal’s Pashupatinath Temple
- India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nepal for the construction of sanitation facility at the iconic Pashupatinath Temple complex in Nepal.
- For this, India has pledged Rs 2.33 crore to improve the infrastructure in the holy shrine Pashupatinath Temple, which is also listed under the UNESCO World Heritage site.
- The project would be constructed under the Nepal-Bharat Maitri: Development Partnership as a high impact community development scheme by India.
- The project would be implemented by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
