India pledges Rs 2.33 crore to build sanitation facility at Nepal's Pashupatinath Temple

India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nepal for the construction of sanitation facility at the iconic Pashupatinath Temple complex in Nepal.
For this, India has pledged Rs 2.33 crore to improve the infrastructure in the holy shrine Pashupatinath Temple, which is also listed under the UNESCO World Heritage site.
The project would be constructed under the Nepal-Bharat Maitri: Development Partnership as a high impact community development scheme by India.
The project would be implemented by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
