- India ranks 80th out of 125 countries in the Global Talent Competitive Index (GTCI) 2019, released by INSEAD business school in partnership with Tata Communications and Adecco Group.
- The report was released on day first of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
- The index has been topped by Switzerland. Singapore, US, Norway and Denmark are the top five countries on the list respectively.
- Despite India moving one place above in this year’s ranking and China falling two places below, China is the best performer in the BRICS nations standing at 45th spot.
