IIT Bombay students launches AI-based Scanning app 'AIR Scanner'

A pair of students at the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay (IIT-B) has developed an AI-based document-scanning app ‘AIR Scanner’, as an alternative to Chinese document scanning app CamScanner.
The app has been developed by Rohit Kumar and Kavin Agrawal from the Department of Civil Engineering.
AIR Scanner is an AI (Artificial Intelligence) based Reading Assistant and Document Scanner app, which can scan documents as well as read to users who have difficulty in reading English.
The document scanned using a mobile camera will be saved in PDF format and will be stored in the device only to ensure complete user security.
