- In table tennis, India’s Harmeet Desai, defeated Anthony Amalraj, in the final at ITTF Challenge Indonesia Open table tennis championship 2019 held in Batam, Indonesia.
- This was the second International title of the year for Harmeet, after the Commonwealth championship in July in Cuttack.
